Why did we start?
The Stronger Together Foundation was born out of a shared passion and deep-rooted empathy for those in our local communities battling cancer. We saw firsthand how cancer can turn lives upside down, not only for those diagnosed but also for their families and support systems. The emotional, physical, and financial burdens are overwhelming, and navigating through them often feels isolating.

We founded Stronger Together because we believe that no one should have to go through such a journey alone. Our mission is to offer support through monetary donations to Dickey and Lamoure County residents fighting cancer. We wanted to create a community of hope, strength, and unity, where people could feel empowered, uplifted, and connected with others who truly understand their struggles. Together, we are stronger—able to face even the hardest challenges with compassion, solidarity, and the belief that together, we can overcome anything.

With over 50 years of experience supporting Relay for Life, the Stronger Together Foundation is supported by a dedicated Board of Directors who play a key role in guiding our mission. They work together to make sure the foundation stays focused on its goals and continues to make a positive impact on the lives of those facing cancer. Their work is vital in helping us achieve our mission and serve those in need.
